After 2 weeks of using this item, I can say that the 8 piece set is enough for someone who cooks a few times a day. The most useful knives that I have found is the 7-inch Santoku and 5-inch utility knife.I am completely satisfied. Like many other reviewers, this was an upgrade from your cheap stamped (cut from one sheet of metal) knives. These are razor sharp and cut through just about anything without effort.

I recommend that you try the recipe that is in the book for buttermilk or Belgium waffles...they are really delicious and not that hard to put together. That recipe is surely a keeper. It was the best tasting recipe for buttermilk waffles. We've tried a TV chef's waffle recipe, which was forgettable, in my opinion.

Traditional oil frying may take much less time per pound but you have to heat the oil for an hour and then you have several hours of cooling, disposal, and cleaning time remaining. We decided to get this Nesco Snackmaster Pro Food Dehydrator FD-75A vs the square one because we werent sure how much we'd use it and wanted the cheapest option. I do agree with other viewers that it would be nice to have a timer that shuts it off but I will do as one other reviewer said and that was to buy a timer at Home Depot and plug the dehydrator into that.

Butterball turkey and everyone raved. 10 min per pound with a quik rub of olive oil and roasted garlic seasoning and man was it good.
