This is a very sturdy, attractive daybed. This bed came in three large heavy boxes. Very easy to assemble (though in the packaging it's quite heavy), my 14 year old daughter and I were able to get it together in about a half hour with just a little help form my husband. It is well built and solid.

This bed is perfect. The trundle fits a regular twin mattress. The Fashion Bed Group Casey Daybed with Trundle arrived just as described. It is solid wood and very sturdy. It is absolutely beautiful and has been great for my daughter and guests. We read reviews, so were prepared for the extra space and purchased a Twin XL mattress for it, which fits perfectly. We have a regular twin mattress in the trundle.

I did a lot of comparison shopping before purchase. Some competitors (including Target online I believe) advertise the "Casey Daybed". The bed looks just great fully assembled, just like a Pottery Barn bed, as someone else noted, but at a much lower price. And there are indeed about three-inch gaps between the twin mattress and the end posts of the bed on each side.

Conclusion

All in all, I am SO pleased with this beautiful Fashion Bed Group Casey Daybed with Trundle! It is definitely more beautiful in person, even though it is NOT white (creamy, yellow white is what I would call it). Couldn't be happier, and I had shopped for a trundle everywhere-on line and in store. Thanks so much for this lovely piece. Twin xl on top and standard twin on bottom is perfect fit!
