The DEWALT DWS780 12-Inch Double Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw ranks in the superior range. As with all DeWalt products we've purchased/tried, this saw`s construction is rugged & overbuilt in all aspects. This saw is one of the main workhorses in my shop and I use it almost everyday. The XPS System is actually something that seemed like a bit of a gimmick when i initially bought it but it's now one of my favorite features. This system is the most accurate i have ever seen and really shows you exactly where the blade will cut as well as the exact thickness of the material it will remove. It does work a lot better indoors but the light is bright enough that the shadow can still be seen when used outside.
