It is wonderful. The hotdogs are steamed, which gives them that ballpark flavor and the buns are steamed but not to the point of total saturation and after they cool they do not get hard and crusty. We are very glad we bought one and it will be going camping with us this summer.

Much safer to use than boiling hot dogs in a pan because the water is in a separate compartment on the bottom, but use caution with little ones around when opening the hot dog and bun areas because of the steam.
