Traditional oil frying may take much less time per pound but you have to heat the oil for an hour and then you have several hours of cooling, disposal, and cleaning time remaining. My husband said this is the only we are eating chicken from now on, lol. He even said it's better than KFC! I asked my coworkers one day if any of them had a turkey fryer. One of them got real excited about NOT buying an oil fryer and that I should really buy this "Big Easy" oiless fryer.

Nesco seems to be the top runner for reasonably priced dehydrators. We decided to get this Nesco Snackmaster Pro Food Dehydrator FD-75A vs the square one because we werent sure how much we'd use it and wanted the cheapest option. I do agree with other viewers that it would be nice to have a timer that shuts it off but I will do as one other reviewer said and that was to buy a timer at Home Depot and plug the dehydrator into that.

I bought this item as a means to deal with the overabundance of produce coming out of my garden!!! I have dried tomatoes, apples, apricots, peppers, and made a ton of venison jerky using this Nesco Food Dehydrator FD-75A machine. You want a fried turkey but can't stand the grease, this litle Masterbuilt 23011014 Butterball Indoor Gen III Electric Fryer Cooker Large Capacity is for you. The first thing I cooked when I got ot out of the box was a big ol chicken. We were skeptical but this was the best and juiciest turkey we have ever had. We fixed an 14 lb test turkey and it was gone in 2 days (just two of us, and I usually don't like turkey).

 I did nothing to the turkey except dry it thoroughly with paper towels and bind the wings next to the breast with a silicone band. We were very pleased with the outcome. The turkey cooked in exactly 100 minutes, and it was moist, juicy and delicious. On Thanksgiving, I roasted a 12-lb. Butterball turkey and everyone raved. 10 min per pound with a quik rub of olive oil and roasted garlic seasoning and man was it good.
